I will be working in Yellowstone National Park, May – October 2024 at the Mammoth Clinic as a RN. In addition, I’ll be volunteering for the National Park Service as a paramedic in and around Yellowstone. All adventures have to start somewhere and mine started with a trip Looking Westward.
May 2022 – Heather and I took a trip to visit Yellowstone and Teton National Parks. After a week of exploring, we realized that we had only experienced a small portion of all the area has to offer. While departing through the north section of Yellowstone we passed through Mammoth Springs. This is where I noted the park clinic and it sparked an idea. What if I got a job at the clinic? Tucking this away for later research we went on our way after having a grand time and clocking in our #2 favorite vacation (Italy is #1). Fast forward two years, and now I have a seasonal job lined up…actually two if you count the volunteer paramedic gig. Much more details to come on both as the season unfolds.
So this is the 2024 adventure ahead. It is going to be an amazing season as 4.5 million visitors make their way to Yellowstone and the surrounding areas. During days not working, I’ll have ample opportunity to explore, learn and share in one of the most amazing places on earth. Join me along the way as I post updates from time to time over the next several months.
Until then, I encourage you to take the trip and travel well.
